It’s been a pretty quiet week so far.
Today heralds the last day of snow, they say. Tomorrow it’s going to thaw like a mofo and all the beautiful snow will be gone. We’ve had two weeks of subzero temperatures and a shitload of snow. It’s been awesome. I’m kind of done with the cold at the moment (walking Bodhi is not a pleasant experience), but the whiteness of it will never fail to enchant me. Also, it’s better than rain and darkness. I usually have a tough time with my moods at this time of the year but I definitely feel it could be worse this year. The snow helps, because it’s so bright. So yeah, two weeks of honest to god snow that doesn’t melt in sludgy mess after a day? Awesome. As you can see on the picture, Bodhi frigging loves it.
In other news, Olli was gracious enough to dye my hair darkred/brown again after the failed experiment of bright red that we tried just before New Year. It bleached out in the most ugly of ways, pinkbrownish. It really looked like arse and I’m glad I look decent again. I mean, I’ve got clients to train, can’t walk around like a lazy punk anymore. (hear me sounding all responsible and shit, ha!). Work is going okay enough; although there was a bit of a meltdown where L made a fuckup with the planning and planned me in for trainings I won’t be there for, because I won’t be back from vacation then. *sighs*
So in the end I sacrificed my Wednesday after Conception; now we’ll come home on Monday and have Tuesday for Bodhi pickups and Charlie pickups and the like. It’s a bit of a hassle and I would have liked to have that extra day on Wednesday but on the other hand, now I can use that day for other things later in the year. So it’ll all work out in the end.
And then of course there’s the League. Brenda and I changed some basic structures of the way the games are played, which gives me a shitload of stuff to retcon in my existing stories. Argh! On the brightside, the differing circumstances made me come up with a cool new story regarding Walter, and thus the birth of cheeky Milan, who I already love with the fiery love of a thousand burning suns. So I’m working on that, too. I could have used my time to maybe set up a RP to run at Conception, but really… I just wanna write right now. I’ll do my roleplaying in England next week.

Yay for more twists to the League story! and the hair looks great!
btw… Are you guys around on Easter? Or do you have a festival to go to? I’ve booked tickets for Easter (Thursday-wednesday) to see Elina’s baby and Jason will join in from Sunday eve to Wednesday. I thought that maybe hanging out in Amsterdam on Sunday evening might be possible… After that you guys have work to get to so Sunday might be the best. Or before as well of course, but then it would be without Jason.
Will send an email later about this but thought I’d mention it before I start planning anything more.
I just apped you
