when you’re at the end of the road

June 9th, 2010

The interview went extremely well. Yay! I think that it was 20 minutes within the interview that the recruiter said that they were going to propose me to their client because I was a great candidate, and that now we’re going to take a look at that database that I’m going to train people in.

Interestingly enough I’ve already worked with this database in 2007 (oh, the coincedence!!) so we mostly chatted about upgrades and tweaks since then, and traded some experiences on IT recruitment (she’s an IT recruiter as well). So all went peachy, and I can’t wait to hear back from the client.

I think we have a real good match here, and if I manage to get along with everyone at the client’s site, and all goes well… well, let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Instead I’ll present you with a mugshot I made of myself in my pretty outfit while waiting for the interview to start (this for the people who haven’t seen my phototweet). Don’t I look all professional and stuff?
