Happy birthday to me! :) I’m actually quite excited to hit a new decade, although I’m sure the novelty will wear off soon enough. I think it was worse when I found my first grey hairs, and so far the whole concept of having that one day in 365 that’s all mine is exciting me enough to feel pretty okay about it.

Olli managed to be home today after all and surprised me last night with pink champagne and strawberry pie at midnight (have I said lately how much I love him?), and even though it was raining last night, the sun is shining brilliantly at the moment.
And tonight we’ll go & have dinner at wherever they’ll have us. Good times :)

    My 30s were definitely the best decade so far – teenage angst done with and still young and pretty. ♥
