So, the concert last night? Enter Shikari was fun and all; they played well despite obviously being wasted. They were also all wearing raincoats for some reason 
It was very clear though that this was not their crowd. Despite playing well and the sound quality being great (HMH <3) this was not their kind of people. I can’t wait to see them in the Melkweg amidst the emo kids again, at least that’s a party. When ES started playing, the hall was still half empty, so we could walk straight to the front, pretty much. So that was cool and they were a good warm up!
Before the Prodigy started playing, we went to have a drink, to the bathroom and to buy t-shirts, and then when we came back in the hall it was suddenly full to bursting. I tried to worm my way forward but Ol cried uncle and said we wouldn’t be able to see shit this way. So we went to the balcony instead. And oh my god, that was SO awesome.
The show was simply mindblowing as well; sound was crystal clear, the setlist was relentless (every time you thought you couldn’t go on anymore, there was yet ANOTHER of their awesome songs starting), everything was full of energy, the crowd below was exploding with enthusiasm and at times I was seriously afraid the balcony would collapse. Seriously. They need to see to that, all that jumping made the balcony sway a bit too heavily for my taste. And then: FOUR ENCORES.
One of which was ‘No Good’. I was glad I bought a new t-shirt, because I was drenched with sweat till my underwear. That was some serious dancing, and some serious awesomeness.
I so needed that.
