14 Decwhy do all good things come to an end

Walking up the stairs at Zoetermeer station my calf was suddenly cramping up. I was at the edge of a terrible cramp attack, but thankfully it subsided. Now it’s all just waiting to happen at some time.

While I thought it was because we’d been fitnessing yesterday (!), Olli told me that it’s probably because of a magnesium shortage. There’s a lot of magnesium in the foods we’re not supposed to eat at the moment, so I suppose I should eat a bit more spinach and eat my vitamin supplements :) It’s the only thing about my diet that’s been bothering me in the past month, so that’s great. Well, apart from daydreams about tiramisu and ben & jerry’s ice cream, of course. Or wanting to drink cider in the pub. But apart from that, I’m fine!

Steadily on my way down and all that. Although I am so not going to mind my diet during christmas, haha. ;)

I’ve been reading through my Nano story “Signals” yesterday and found to my delight that it doesn’t suck as bad as I thought it did. I’ve been more descriptive than ever (yay!) and the characters do all have their voices and vices. I was very amused to see the girls comment more on outfits and makeup, and the boys about cleavage, for example.
There were also a few lines that I thought were awesome, so I do feel inspired to continue on the story. I’ll just have to plan out a scene-by-scene rundown on Stuff Yet To Come. Here’s to hoping I’ll find some time between Christmas and New Year.

On a semi-related note, Ol and I do have tickets for the new years lottery. How weird would it be if we’d win NOW, with that story I’ve written? :D
