I now understood what Wendy meant about management essays back then. I was so uncertain about my graduation project texts, and I had MONTHS to write this thing. And what do I do for a living now? I write out company advice & conclusions on implementations for a living. Within a little over three days, I churned out 3,000 words on the situation of the company, and what we’re going to do about it with our awesome product.
I hope my boss finds it okay; he’s going to read it and we’re going to discuss & polish it this afternoon. And then straight afterwards I have the end of my trial period so we’re supposed to sit down and see if I can go on to the other five months of my six month contract… or whether that parking ticket that I got the other day made him hate me so much that I’ll be jobless again come Friday. *grins*
I didn’t tell you about that did I? It was a gorgeous morning, I was awake for merely an hour and I’d cleverly found my way back to the office in Zoetermeer again. I was so happy to get the company car home safely (and without any dents or scratches) that I ended up parking it in a place where many other cars where. I completely missed the sign that said no parking… just followed the other cars. It’s a small consolation they got a fine too, I suppose. 60 Euro’s! I could have spent that money a *lot* better… stupid, stupid Lannie.
My boss thought it was frigging hilarious and is teasing me like a mofo with it. So I think that if I would be fired, it wouldn’t be because of the parking ticket. 
Also, he gave me the car to bring to the garage that very afternoon, because the girl who used the car before me had dented it up in no less than four spaces. It needed a bit of damage control.
Anyway, I will keep you updated!
Oh and for people who are curious about how the hair colour turned out: it’s exactly as the package said: amber-coloured. Very warm, not quite copper but a bit more… well, amber. I quite like it.
