making the best of the flu
Since Olli and I have both been battling raging sniffles, headaches and fever this week, we figured that now might be as good a time as any to try and kick our sugar habit. I really, really, really want to lose some weight. I’m getting to that point where I’m shocked every time I behold myself naked; I don’t have this image of myself in my head, and this is really not good. I don’t even want to talk about the numbers I’m seeing on the scales
I’ve been kind of hesitant about writing about it here because I know we’ve bailed out a couple of times before, after that very successful run in 2004. But you know, you will find out soon enough I suppose, since I won’t be drinking beer for a while… and we could use some encouragement! Especially since Olli’s pissing his kilo’s away like it’s nothing (oh, to be a guy…) and I’m doing well, but not as well as he does. (OBVIOUSLY). So yeah, we’re going to stick to this for now, and see where we end up. I want to get back to 90 at least and 85 if I can help it. Just to feel a bit better about myself when I see me in the mirror or on pictures
So yay for us!

I’ll join you all on the quest to shed the kilos. I need it after delivering my baby. I’m allowed to diet now, too.
