Oh Lowlands how I love you, let me count the ways…
- Brilliant sunshine & perfect festival weather
- Editors live in concert – “Escape the nest”
- goosebumps during “Born Slippy” at the Underworld gig, despite being drenched with sweat
- rocking out at Killswitch Engage
- all the other interesting gigs like Gogol Bordello and stuff
- blowing bubbles
- beer
- laughter
- weird conversations with random people
- and those brilliant smiles exchanged with random strangers because you both fucking LOVED that concert.
There’ll be a whole report, plus pictures… but that’s later. First I have an online life to catch up with. And sleep. That too.
I agree. Lowlands was completely amazing. My highlights were NERD and Franz Ferdinand though – I’ve been wanting to see them live for ages, and then the weather… wow.
It was sooo amazing to be part of a festival filled with sunshine, fun and great music. I have 1 to add to your list, which is ‘finding new artists you’ve never heard about perfect to listen to’. Chilling in the grass, drinking a beer and blowing bubbles, all awesome.
Awesome-OO!!
