I called in sick this morning. If my throat was a battlefield before, it’s even worse now.
I feel like I’m swallowing shards of glass all day long. It hurts like a motherfucker. Speaking is almost completely out of the question, too. And if you have a job that requires you to actually talk all day, you’re up for trouble. I have a blinding headache to match; so this morning at 7.45 I called work to say I’m sick.

Looks like I’m not the only one. Half of the company is down with flu – is it like this every time a flu virus passes by? It’s annoying! :(

Oh well, at least I got to sleep in this morning. Badly needed, too. With the whole throat thing I don’t sleep too well.

  • Jeez, you too? Everyone around me is dropping like flies. :( Sorry to hear you have the flu… I know that horrifically sore throat feeling and it SUCKS.
