just try and think positive
Khalil has visited Olli and the Siriusstraat and he’s happy to take over as much as we can offer him. This means that all we have to do is a little ceilingpainting, and some wallpapering in the livingroom. That’s IT, sweet people! That’s all. We can finish that in a mere one or two days, and then we’ll have the rest of my week off to putter around in the new house. Not that we’ll have MONEY to buy anything for the new house, but that isn’t really the point here. Khalil has made sure that we have a lot less work to do. Which is fucking awesome.
And I needed that, because in the past few days everything I’ve worked for at work has fallen through. What happened to my luck there? I can’t seem to make a placement to save my life! It’s terribly frustrating. I try to tell myself that defeats will make the victory taste all the sweeter, but today I’m actually a little bummed to discover that once again my work was for naught. *sighs* That’s part of the work, though. And I already have two placements this month… I have to remember that and forget that one was carried over from last month and this one was made a week ago. Think positive!

It might just be that you’re a little burnt out. Such things work through everywhere. You’ll see that as soon as you’re settled in comfortably, things will go more smoothly.
btw. it’s a good thing you didn’t go along to the Tara. you would’ve been bummed even more *points to own blog for explanation*

*sends happy and positive vibes* Next time your placement will be great, I’m sure.
