Lots of RP drama (I’m really not making myself loved with the Staff & Incarns these days, but I really can’t help it), but also lots of fun was had yesterday.
After the Open House Day at school, where I charmed aspiring students into choosing for my study (or helped them thinking about other options), I went for dinner with Eva, Emma, Rik and Martijn. We went to Brasserie Harkema (which is located right behind the Tara, of all places) – which is a really hip and stylish place, but the food was good and the company was even better.
We had good laughs together and this just showed me how little contact there actually is between people of our study. We philosophized that indeed, there are some people who’d be nice drinkbuddies, but real friendship… not really. Somehow everyone’s friendly but distracted and not really into friendship. Me included, by the way. Interesting.
Anyway, we had a great night and Eva and I went home together by train at 11pm. I rolled into bed a bit after midnight, after responding to some posts on the staff board. We’ll see what happens.
As for now, I’m off to an appointment for my graduation project.
