Leuven, here we come!

October 12th, 2003

Tomorrow, Ol and I are going to Leuven in Belgium. We’ve been there before – when we were stranded after Rock Werchter Festival because the trains weren’t running. Well, I can tell you, there are a LOT worse places to be stranded! Leuven is full of atmosphere, and I like the Belgians as a people.

Thankfully, the weather forecasts are lovely. It won’t be very warm: 12C/53F – but we’re going to have a clear sky and sun all day. That’s better than anything Ol and I ever had on our short vacation trips. I think it has something to do with us planning our trips in autumn (November 1999: Paris) or winter (January 2002: Maastricht).

So what are we planning to do? Mmm, not sure yet. We want to do some atmosphere-tasting, some shopping maybe, eating out, and basically just to be with the two of us on vacation for a while. It’ll only be three days, from Monday to Wednesday, but I think it’ll be enough. I’m looking forward to it with immense glee.

Of course, I first gotta do the laundry.

Oh, there’s a pretty pic of Leuven under the link.

    Cool!

Are you going to visit the Rodin again? Hopefully the bill won’t be as high as the last time ;)
