Mental note to self: next time Olli and I see a pretty rainbow arching over Voorburg while we’re walking with Bodhi, GET THE FUCK HOME and don’t keep walking in that very direction for the next half hour. The rainshower that we got on our heads was of epic proportions. My shoes were sopping by the time we got home. We both needed a complete change of clothes.
At least Bodhi was having a good time, he was happily wagging his tail the whole way. :’)
Easter Monday 2011. Olli, Bodhi and I are sitting in the garden at 9pm. It’s still lovely outside. Bodhi wants some attention from Olli, who is playing Angry Birds on his cellphone.
Bodhi nudges Olli’s elbow with his nose.
“Oi,” Olli says, not even looking up from his cell, “I’m busy. Those pigs won’t kill themselves, you know.”
I had to giggle at that. Just because it’s funny, and it’s so very much my life at the moment. 
With February making way to March, Bodhi’s anniversary came and passed. Can’t believe it’s a year already since we adopted him. It kind of shows in the way we keep calling him puppy. He’s a definite adult now, but I guess it’s just an endearment.
We gave him a mini-pizza to celebrate, all for him. He loved it, haha!
And just look at him, all grown up and adorable. People comment on how pretty he is all the time, asking what race he is. Fuck knows, he’s just a mongrel that turned out very well. Not just pretty, but adorably sweet and cuddly, too. Just the way we like it.
